CHARGE OF FORGERY

CARPENTER IN COURT Charged with forging a signature on a receipt, George Joseph Silver was remanded at the Police Court this morning until June 13. The detailed charge against Silver, a carpenter aged 29, was that he forged the name or Clarence Holloran to a receipt for £9 2s Id, and induced James Samson Cupit to act upon it. Mr. J. F. W. Dickson appeared for accused and bail was fixed in one surety of £IOO.
