AUCKLAND’S BEST
the two best backs in the AuckA land side against Waikato at Hamilton on Monday were V. Butler (fullback) and P. Minns (wingthree quarter). Butler played his usual sound game, his positional play being excellent. Minns made most of his own opportunities and was always dangerous. If the All Black side contains wings much better than Minns it is better than it looks on paper.
