PROMISING PETERWAHS

While there was much disappointment at Hastings on Saturday over the absence of the champion trotter Peterwah, there was much jubilation at the forward showing of his progeny, four of which earned some money. Wah captured the Stewards’ Handicap, Gang Awa, another three-year-old was second to Benefice, the four-year-old Peter Lloyd was just defeated by My Thorpe, and Enawah, who is the same age, finished third in the last event. Owner-breeder Bob Fisken was naturally a proud man and he received hearty congratulations on all side for the fine showing of Peterwah's stock.
