112 DAYS’ GAOL, AND DISMISSAL DESERTED HIS POST (Australian and N.Z. Fress Association) (United Service) Reed. 11 a.m. LONDON, Monday. Sievwright, the sentry who disappeared from Buckingham Palace and walked to his home in Scotland, was sentenced to 112 days’ imprisonment and discharged from the army in ignomy. Sievwright was convicted for leaving his post on May 30 and also for deserting by absence without leave.
