Three workers in the Sudan United Mission are expected back in New Zialand within a short time. Mr. and Mrs K. Rimmer, who have been in the Uigio-Egyptian Sudan, are returning to Auckland in July, as Mrs. Rimmer has been ordered back for medical reasons. Miss McDonald, of Canterbury, has resigned, and is also reluming. MINISTERS’ MOVEMENTS 'la his capacity of Minister of Customs, the Hon. W. B. Taverner paid a visit this morning to the glass-works at Penrose. From now on he will coordinate his programme with that of the Prime Minister, the Right Hon. Sir Joseph Ward. On Friday morning Mr. Taverner vill inspect the route of the proposed Paeroa-Pokeno railway. He will begin the inspection from the Pokeno end, leaving Auckland by motor-car, and will afterwards be the guest of the Paeroa Borough Council at lunch, and will catch the express for the South at Frankton. With the Minister of Hea:|l\, the Hon. A. J. Stallworthy, the Minister of Education, the Hon. H. Atmore, paid a visit to the Auckland Teachers’ Training College at Epsom this morning.
