| Today’s Recipef TO PRESERVE PEAS GBE E2? peas may be preserved by boiling in salted water. Allow 3 02 salt to one quart water and boil for -0 minutes. Place some of this water in a pan. and, when boiling, add enough peas to fill one or two jars. Allow to boil for five minutes, lift into jars, pour the boiling salted water from the pan and seal down. This method, is handy when only a few peas are to be preserved at a time. As a change, after boiling in salted water put the peas into jars and cover with vinegar, allowing ore tablespoon of chopped horseradish to one quart vinegar.
