VICTIM OF SHOOTING
ASSAILANT SUED FOR DAMAGES CHRISTCHURCH AFFRAY Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. The recent shooting affray at Papanui had its sequel in the Christchurch Magistrate’s Court when John Armstrong, of Durham Street, labourer, sued Frederick Richardson, of Green’s Road, gardener, for £l9B 16s damages. The statement of claim set out that, on March 8, defendant had caused au injury to plaintiff by discharging a firearm at him in Green's Road. The ease was adjourned for a week.
