PROMINENT IN BUSINESS
Mr. A. V. Lc Petit, export sales manager for the Amalgamated Dairies, Etd., has his finger on the pulse of world dairy produce markets.
A native of Tasmania, Mr. Ee Petit crossed the Tasman at an early age and finished off his school days at the Auckland Grammar School. His first efforts in the business icorld were made in the office of the Victoria Insurance Company. He later joined up with Dalgety and Company and passed through most branches of the wool, stock and merchandise departments. Prior to joining the Hew Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., in 1921, he held the position of merchandise manager in Hamilton. His first position with the Dairy Company was that of assistant-sec-retary. He subsequently took charge of the sales and export department which was later transferred to Auckland. As Sales manager for the Amalgamated Dairies he helps to market over one-third of Netv Zealand’s dairy produce. Mr. Le Petit served for a period in the Great 'War.
