Earldom for Viscount Inchcape PEERAGE FOR FIRST LORD (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright.) (Australian and A ~.Z. Press Association) Reed. 11 a.m. LONDON, Sutday. The King's birthday honours include:— An earldom for Viscount Inchcape, head of the P. and O. shipping line. A viseountcy for the Right Hon W C. Bridgeman, formerly First Lord of the Admiralty. A barony for Sir William Berrv, the newspaper proprietor. Knighthoods are conferred on Captain Brass, who accompanied Mr. L. S. Amery, Secretary of State for the Dominions, to Australia; Francis James Wylie, of Oxford, secretary of the Rhodes Trust. A G.C.V.O. is conferred on Sir Humphrey Rolleston, and a K.C.V.O. on Dr. F. E, Shipway, in connection with their services to the King during his Majesty’s illness.
