i Maori Boy Burglars Two Maori boys, aged 13 and 14. respectively, were dealt with in tho Children’s Court. Gisborne, for a series of burglaries in country districts. The | boys admitted having broken into four j houses and. stolen a variety of articles. The elder boy was committed to Wereroa Training Farm, and the younger to the care of the Child Welfare officer. | —P.A. Stolen Car Found j A five-seatcr motor-car. the property • of Mr. G. D. Smith. 4 Ariki Street. Grey . Lynn, which was stolen from outside the Public Hospital last evening, has been recovered by the police. It had been abandoned in a city street and was 5 not damaged. Prison For Clothing Thieves William * Lyndhurst. 52, and John Martin. 28, employed by the Public Works Department at Akatarawa, appeared in the Police Court at Wellington today for the theft of clothing in i S. F. Prailsford's shop. Martin was fined £ 5 and Lyndhurst. ; an old offender, was sentenced to three I months imprisonment. John Ferns, a fireman, 30. and a ' shipmate.
