MATAMATA CLUB
NOMINEES TO BE SUPPORTED (Special to THE SUN) MATAMATA, Friday. Mr. G. W. Anderson presided at a meeting: of the committee of the Mata* mata Racing: Club, when the proposed alterations in the by-laws for the local track were approved. The committee gave its approval to a fresh application by Mrs. E. Lark to the conference in regard to an agreement between Godfrey Lark and herself. Applications for licences were approved in the cases of R. Mateer (trainer), Burgess and McMillan (jockeys). In future all applications for licences will be signed by the chairman for the club. The following candidates for office are to be supported by the club: Auckland District Committee. Hon. E. W. Alison, Messrs. L. W. Nelson. E. J. Clendon, D. McLeod and H.
