MAKOS STULL ABOUT
TWO LANDED AT RUSSELL FIRST WHALE SIGHTED (From Our Own Correspondent) RUSSELL, Today. After indulging :in winter deep-sea angling, Major and Mrs. G. B. Holdsworth, of Yorkshire, England, left for Auckland today. Three big game fish—two makos, 3811 b and 1801 b respectively, and one kingfish, were caught. The whaling season has commenced, and the first whale was sighted yesterday.
