Two American comedies o£ the "homely" type, "Pigs” and, "Apple Sauce,” are due for New Zealand shortly. Reginald Kewson, here with Moscovitch, is with the company.
A company (No. 2) lias been formed by Williamson-Tait, Ltd., for the touring of “The Desert Song.” At the head of it are Leo Darnton (here with several J.C.W. shows) and Romolo Hansen.
Shayle Gardener, the Auckland actor who has attained fame abroad, talks of paying a visit to New Zealand. He is at present visiting America, and may return to Hngland via the Dominion.
“The Five O’clock Girl” ballet had to have five nurses, superintended by a doctor, to massage them back to normal before the opening night of the show in Adelaide, so hard had they worked up till the last rehearsals.
Frank Neil's company for liis forthcoming tour of New Zealand includes Lily Molloy, Mary Gannon, Eileen Guilbert, HilAi Attenbro, Della Rave, Enid Hollins, Vert St. John, Dorothy Glass, .Tune Mills, Violet Elliott, Marie Lethbridge, Sylvia Cashmore, Field Fisher, Jefferson Tate, Paul Longuet and Frank Neil himself.
