GOLD and BROWN
Frocks and Foliage at FUerslie
With nature mantling them in most colourful array and showering all the rich golden beauty of a late autumn caress on the leaves of its trees, the lawns at Ellersiie made an enchanting background today for the delightful fashions worn by the large throng of feminine race-lovers who attended the opening of the Auckland Racing Club’s winter meeting. 'VJ’O doubt was left in even the most casual observer’s mind as to which is the season's most important colour, for brown played the leading part in the composition of a very large proportion of the smartest ensembles.
