OLD MAN KILLED
STRUCK BY MOTOR-CAR Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Friday. While crossing the road at the Clock Tower corner, at the intersection of Manchester, Lichfield and High Streets, this afternoon, George Claydon, aged 76 years, was knocked down and run over by a motor-car. He died in the Christchurch Hospital shortly afterwards.
