SIGNED BY TEST TEAM In the interests of cricket, an art union, by permission of the Minister of Internal Affairs, will be drawn on August 29, 1929, the prize being a bat, specially selected by Mr. W. A. Oldfield, of the Australian XI., and autographed by all players taking part in the historic fifth test at Melbourne this year. Of the proceeds, 50 per cent, will go to the coach fund of the Auckland City and Suburban Cricket Association, and 50 per cent to the club fund of the Balmoral Cricket Club. Tickets are obtainable from sports outfitters and the organiser, Mr. E. J. Price, 713 Dominion Road.
