SUBURBAN THEATRES
At the Prince Edward Theatre this evening the pictures are ••Cheyenne" (Ken Maynard) and “Palais de Danse” (Mabel Poulton). Vaudeville items will be presented by the Ha-Ha Boys. The Grey Lynn Cinema will show “Blue Skies” (Helen Twelvetrees) and “Show Life” (Anna May Wong). At the Parish Hall, Devonport. the films to be screened are “Scarlet Seas” (Richard Barthelmess), “The Danger Rider" (Hoot Gibson) and a “Collegians” picture. At the Foresters’ Hall, Birkenhead, the film will be “Fugitives” (Madge Bellamv) and a “Collegians” picture. Dancing will be enjoyed until midnight. AKARANA YACHT CLUB DANCE The Akarana Yacht Club will hold its usual Saturday evening dance in the Clubhouse. Mechanics Bay, this evening. There is good music and the floor is in excellent condition. A free bus service is run from Endean’s Buildings. BOATING CLUB DANCE A big King Carnival dance will be held in the Takapuna Boating Club’s clubhouse. Bayswater, on Monday evening next. Dancing will be continued until 1 a.m. Transport arrangements arc advertised.
