KOSKILL ROAD DISTRICT RATES, 1929-1930. Notice is hereby given that in pursuance and exercise of its powers under The Roads Boards Act, ly(i8 and The Rating Act, 1925, The Hospital and Charitable Aid institutions Act, 1926, and all the every other powers enabling it in that behalf, the MOUNT ROSKILL ROAD BOARD intends on TUESDAY, June 11, 1929, to make and levy for the year commenced on the Ist day of April. 3 929, and ending on March 31, 1930, the following rates and fees:— U) A CONSOLIDATED RATE of four pence and thirty-five sixty-fourths of one penny in the pound upon the unimproved value of all the rateable property as appearing in the Valuation Roll for the time being in force in the Mount Roskill Road District, such rate being in lieu of the following Rates:— A GENERAL RATE of twopence and fifty-three sixty-fourths (2 53-64) of one penny in the pound. A SEPARATE RATE of five-eighths (5-8) of one penny in the pound for the Auckland Hospital Board Levy. A SEPARATE RATE of fifteen thirty-seconds (15-32) of one penny In the pound for Street Lighting. AN ANNUAL RECURRING SPECIAL RATE of nineteen sixty-fourth (19-64) of one penny in the pound for interest and sinking fund on Road Loan £19,800. AN ANNUAL RECURRING SPECIAL RATE of nine thirty-seconds (9-32) of one penny in the pound for interest and sinking fund on Dominion Road Concreting Loan of £16,200. AN ANNUAL RECURRING SPECIAL RATE of three sixty-fourths (3.64). of one penny in the pound for interest and sinking fund on Quarry Loan of £5,500. (2) SPECIAL AREA LOANS—To provide interest andi sinking fund:— NOS. 1,2 and 3 WATER SUPPLY LOANS, £1,754 —A Special Consolidated Rate of one eighth (1-8) of one penny in the pound on the unimproved value of the Special Area. RIDGE ROAD LOAN, £2,500 —A Special Rate of one sixteenth (1-16) of one penny in the pound on the unimproved vaiue of the Special Area. QUEENSTOWN AND SEACLIFFS ROAD LOAN, £62O—A Special Rate of three thirty-seconds (3-32) of one penny in the pound on the unimproved value of the Special Area. NO. 2 WATER AREA LOAN. £4.000 —A Special Rate of twenty-five sixty-fourths (25-64) of one penny in the pound on the unimproved value of the Special Area. WATER AND DRAINAGE LOAN, £47,500 —A Special IFlate of twopence and three-eighths (2 3-8) of one penny In the pound on the unimproved value of the Special Area. WATER LOAN. £1,250—A Special Rate of twenty-seven sixty-fourths of one penny (27-64) in the pound on the unimproved value of the Special Area. WATER EXTENSION LOAN. £4,800 —A Special Rate of thirty-five sixtyfourths (35-64) of one penny in the pound on the unimproved value of the Special Area WATER EXTENSION LOAN OF £3.100 —A Special Rate of threepence and one-eighth (3 1-8) of one penny in the pound on the unimproved value of the Special Rating Area. (2) SANITATION FEE: A uniform fee in respect of removal of household refuse of Ten Shillings (10s) per house in lieu of a rate for any house or premises situate in those parts of the Mount Roskill District in which the service is rendered. 1 (4i A NON-CONSUMERS’ WATER CHARGE: Upon all lands and buildings to which water can be, but is not supplied, situate within a distance of one hundred (100) yards from any part of the District Waterworks. a rate of Five Shillings (ss) per annum. The said rates and Fees to be payable ! in one sum on the first day of JULY. 1929, at the Office of the Mount Roskill Road Board. Mount Albert Road, to the Board’s appointed Collector. The Estimates upon which the above Rates are based, having been approved by the Mount Roskill Road Board, together with the Valuation Roll of the District, may be inspected during Office Hours at the Board's Office.
