PROPOSALS AT WANGANUI (Special to THE SUN) WANGANUI, Today. The consulting engineer of the Wanganui Harbour Board, Mr. G. A. Lee in an interim report, states that the navigable depth that could be obtained at the entrance to the harbour would govern the work to be undertaken inside the harbour. At the entrance there were forces such as floods and tides which represented engineering difficulties. It was imperative that the first work undertaken be that calculated to improve the depth at the entrance, leaving the work inside the harbour to be carried out as the need arose.
