American swimmers are still break-
ing world's records. George Kojac, Olympic TOO metres b a c kstroke champion, and world's record holder, caused a sensation by swimming 440 yards backstroke in a 25yds pool in 5m 35 2-ss, badly shattering the world’s record of 5m 52 2-ss. TCojac, during the past two months, has repeatedly covered 100 yards backstroke in under 60 3-ss, and is expected shortly to break the minute.
