MOANATAIARI MINING CO.
PRODUCING STAGE AGAIN REACHED j Shareholders of the Moanataiari Mini ing Company met yesterday with a view to further discussing the company’s position. The attendance was insufficient to form a quorum, however, and only an informal discussion took place. The chairman. Mr. W. M. Gimson, stated that it was not intended to proceed with further development work at the moment. A washing plant had been installed, and it was intended to handle the low grade ore with a view to extracting a certain amount of gold each month. Indications were that this could be done profitably. The finances of the company, at the moment, made it impossible to work the crusher and continue with the development of the reef at the same time. A further meeting of shareholders will be held on Thursday next. AUSTRALIAN PRODUCE (United P.A. — By Telegraph — Copyright) SYDNEY, Thursday.
