BERT HINKLER’S PLANE
OFFERED TO QUEENSLAND GOVERNMENT Mr. Bert Hinkler has offered the Queensland Government the plane in which he made his solo flight from England, and ir. is suggested that the offer should be accepted and the plane suitably housed in the museum. The ex-Premier, Mr. McCormack, who received the offer through the Agent-General. Mr. Huxham, just before vacating office, left the offer to be considered by the new Premier, Mr. Moore. The plane is at Bundaberg.
