OUTHWAITE PARK

I RECOGNITION OF DONOR COMMEMORATING THE GIFT A suggestion that the memory of Miss Outhwaite, the donor of Outhwaite Park, should be commemorated by a tablet or monolith, contained in a letter to the Newmarket Borough Council and received at a meeting last evening, met with favourable comment. The Mayor. Mr. S. Donaldson, sa;d that the suggestion was timely, and the council should decide on some form of commemoration for the gift of the park. The question was referred to the Works Committee.
