SCHOOL BOARD’S DECISION
Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. A proposal was put forward at the Education Board’s Conference to supply school requisites free. The cost was variously estimated by speakers at £50,000 to £BO,OOO, and it was claimed this would be the thin edge cf the wedge for free books. The motion found no support when put to the vote.
