“DEEPER LIFE” MEETINGS

GRANGE ROAD MISSION OPENS The first meeting of the Deeper Life Mission was held in the Grange Road Baptist Church yesterday afternoon, when the Rev. Fraser Barton gave an address on “The Call to Holiness,” taking as his text the verse from Isaiah, “An highway shall be there, a way. and it shall be called the way of holiness.” The Rev. A. S. Wilson, who presided, explained that these meetings for the deeper Christian life, had no sensational features, but aimed at a deeply spiritual atmosphere. In the evening Miss Bissett, the daughter of the well-known evangelist, was the speaker and gave an impressive address on “Crowning Jesus King.” The soloist for the afternoon was Mrs. Karlsen and for the evening Misses Bissett and McTavish. The speaker for this afternoon and evening is the Rev. Evan R. Harries.
