HORSE TRAINER REMANDED ADMITS BREAKING ORDER Admitting that he had procured liquor and entered a licensed house during the currency of a prohibition order, Raymond Janies Woodward was remanded at the Police Court this morning on a charge of theft. Woodward, alias Reg. Woods, a horse-trainer, aged 30, was charged with stealing a wallet and contents valued at £3 15s from William Martin yesterday. He pleaded not guilty. “There are certain circumstances that must be closely inquired into,” remarked Sub-Inspector McCarthy, applying for the remand.
