NAPIER MAN DROWNED
TWO CONSTABLES HEAR STRANGE TALKING EVIDENCE AT INQUEST Press Association NAPIER, Tuesday. At the inquest concerning the death of ail unidentified elderly man whose body was recovered from the inner harbour during the week-end, two constables stated that they liiard a sound coming from the small steamer Ruru as of a drunken man talking to himself. Later a splash was heard and the body was seen in the water. It was promptly recovered by means of a boat. , The constables expressed the opinion that death w.as due to heart seizure. The inquest was adjourned.
