SYDNEY, Tuesday, r* CREMORNE flat was the scene of A a double tragedy today. Rene Linton, the actress, and her lover, Stracha Knight, were found dead in a room. Both had been shot, and an automatic revolver was lying beside Knight’s body. Four bullet wounds were found in Miss Linton’s head and breast, and one in Knight's head. Knight’s mother said he quarrelled
with the girl at the week-end. Miss ' Linton called at the Knights’ flat today in response to an invitation from . her son, who ordered his mother to I leave the room. Mrs. Knight said the tragedy Occurred immediately afterwards. ‘ The police are convinced that the : man shot the girl and then committed suicide. Miss Linton’s age was 23. Knight, who was a land salesman, was 22 years l old.
