SEAMEN STEAL FRUIT

THREE FINED AT WELLINGTON Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. William Frank Brown, .aged 20. John George Blunkell, aged 19, and Ernest Albert Bannister, aged 19, seamen on the steamer Cambridge at Wellington, when pulling a ease of fruit up from one hold dropped it out of the sling. An officer heard it fall and caught the three men before they could escape. They were convicted and fined £2 each for theft in the Police Court today, and were also ordered to pay for the case of fruit.
