There has been a full week of dull weather, with a comparatively mild temperature. Indeed last night it was five degrees above zero a surprising rise as the wind was not unusually strong. But no matter how moody and repellent the frozen world may be outside, it is warm and cheery in the houses. The days go very rapidly. In less than a month the winter claywill be reached, and we can look ahead to a return of the sun.
