American Athletic Coaches

From Wellington comes a proposal i' that the centres and amateur athletic clubs in New Zealand should combine in the raising of funds to bring an athletic coach from America for the 193031 season. So far it is only a tentative suggestion, thrown out for the enthusiasts in the various districts to nibble at through the winter. The idea is a very good one. Unfortunately, it will be difficult to carry into effect, but there is no doubt that New Ze? - land athletes would benefit immensely from the tuition of a good American coach.
