Obituary

MRS. M. E. TARRY The death of an old resident of Xorthcote. Mrs. Alary E. Tarry, aged 76. occurred yesterday morning. Airs. Tarry with her husband, Mr. Philip Tarry, J.P., arrived in New Zealand some 40 years ago. Prior to their arrival here Mr. Tary retired from the service of the Great Indian Peninsula Company. and with his family returned to England, but finally decided to settle in the colonies. Tarry’s Hall some years ago was a. well-known Xorthcote landmark. Mrs. K. Benner, of Pongakawa, Bay of Plenty, is a daughter.
