ANTWERP EXHIBITION

N.Z. WILL NOT BE THERE REVERSAL OF DECISION Press Association WELLINGTON. Today. Grave concern lias been caused in influential circles by the decision of the Government not to proceed with representation of the Dominion at the Antwerp Exhibition next year. This is due, it is said, not to the opportunity which New Zealand is missing thro: h being absent from an exhibition at which the other Dominions will not be present, but to the fact that the Government’s reversal of the decision of its predecessor in office represents a breach of faith.

The Reform Government informed the Belgian Government, through its ambassador in London, that it intended to participate in the Antwerp Exhibition, and it also advised the Australian Government. The space has been reserved by the Belgian Government for nine months.
