MAN’S NARROW ESCAPE

DASH FROM BLAZING HOME ( Special to THE SUN) NEW PLYMOUTH, Today. Flames in his bedroom aroused Mr. L. H. Hall, of Kahui Street, Fitzroy, early yesterday morning. He was alone at the time, his wife being on holiday in Auckland. He had just time to seize his clothes and escape through a window. The fire brigade managed to make a good save, although the blazing house was well alight when the call was received. The house was insured for £SOO in the Royal Exchange office and the furniture for £l5O with the Phoenix Company.
