BRITAINS HIGH RECORD SIX THOUSAND PERSONS KILLED A Home Office return shows that 6,138 people were killed in road and street accidents in Great Britain dm - ing 1925. The number injured totalled 164,838. There is an increase of 788 in the total killed in England and Wales compared with the previous year, but a reduction of 15.495 in the injured.
