WOMAN SUES TUNNEY
A BREACH OF PROMISE ALLEGED CLAIM FOR £IOO,OOO (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) NEW YORK, Wednesday. Mrs. Katherine King Fogarty, of Stamford, Connecticut, has filed notice of attachment of the recently purchased home there of Gene Tunney, exchampion heavy-weight boxer, in connection with her suit for breach of promise of marriage. Plaiutiff claims £IOO,OOO damages. She says Tunney proposed in 1926, a week after she was divorced from John Fogarty. 'Plaintiff has a daughter aged 10.
