BIBLE INSTITUTE
At the monthly meeting of directors of the Bible Training Institute, which was presided over by Mr. R. L. Stewart, the secretary reported that 62 students, of whom 36 were men and 26 women, were in residence during the last session. There were 71 graduates of the institute erigaged in active Christian work, 35 being in foreign missions, 16 in home mission and evangelistic work, while four were still studying, and 11 had been accepted as candidates by various foreign missionary societies. Three students were accepted to enter the institute for the next session and two applications were deferred. The three accepted were C. E. Roke, of Huntly; W. K. Miller, of Queenstown; and F. H. Lloyd, of Nelson.
This evening the annual meeting will be held. Musical items and short addresses will be given by the students and addresses will be given by the hon. principal, the Rev. Joseph W. Kemp, and the dean, Mr. Charles J. Rolls.
