The Morrinsville Golf Club held an enjoyable bridge evening on Saturday," the hostesses being Misses V. Clifford, At. Allwood, ID. Lowry and B. McNaughton. The prizes were won by Miss M. Allen and Air. A. Needham (highest scores) and Miss A. Cormish and Mr. D. Hastie (secret numbers). * * * At a meeting of the Morrinsville Women’s division of the New Zealand farmers’ Union, the following officers were elected:—President, Mrs. I. Walker; vice-presidents, Mesdames F. Seifert and Donovan; secretary, Mrs. A. FWild; committee. Miss Noble, Mrs. Marx and Mrs. Smith. * * * Miss Nettie Boles, of Thames, is visiting her sisttr-in-law, Mrs. J. Boles, of Morrinsville. * * * Miss Margaret Chadwick, of Auck- | land, is on a visit to Mr. and Airs. F. I W. Chadwick, Alorrinsville.
