STREPHON-ON LIMERICK

The , crack three-year-old, Strephon, will leave for England this week. Mr. Green’s colt has never met the older champion, Limerick, but it is ratheit curious that he will be borne to Europe in quest of further Turf honours in a steamer bearing that name. The Limerick was to leave Sydney last week, and was to take on board Mr. Green’s colt at Melbourne. She will go ; through the Suez Canal and land Strephon in France, so that he may be partly acclimatised in the warmer latitude in the south of that country before he ventures on English soil.
