Milne and Choyce, both shares and debenture stock, are firm with buyers at 265. Robinson Ice have* many buyers at 22s 9d. Shariand pref. are asked for at 20s 3d. Wilsons Cements are firm at about 425.
The mining section is attracting conI siderable attention. Alburnia are i quietly firming. Lucky Shots are j closely watched by investors. OhineI inuri remain steady, while Waihis I have buyers at 12s Sd. sellers holding | for 13s. There are strong inquiries for Loan (and Agency shares. Few sellers are : quoting in this section. Abraham and Williams pref. are quoted with buyers 88s. Farmers* Auctioneering are also : asked for at 60s. National Mortgage ! and Loan and Mercantile have keen i buyers. ! A large volume of business is being : registered in the banking section and I eager buyers are appearing in many eases. Australasia are showing a slight improvement.
