CANADIANS TO GIVE FLAGS TO AUSTRALIA FROM NAMESAKE TOWNS (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 12.4 p.m. VANCOUVER, Monday. The basic friendship and goodwill which the Canadians feel toward their fellow Empire citizens in Australia will be expressed here before the departure of the Young Australian League boys. They will arrive here on Wednesday 1 , and a dozen more cities and towns in Canada, having namesake places in Australia, will join in the presentation of Canadian flags and greetings to be conveyed southward by the boys. Mayor Malkin will make the formal presentation. Among the places cooperating are Nelson, Cranbrook, Lethbridge, Redcliffe, Windsor, Perth, Richmond, Waterloo, Quebec, Fredricton-, Halifax, Sydney.
