3,000 NOW DESTITUTE
DISASTROUS FLOODS IN TASMANIA DAMAGE OF £1,500,000 LAUNCESTON, Monday. It is estimated that 3,000 people are destitute as a result of the recent floods in Tasmania. The damage done was about £1,500,000. The relief funds collected in Victoria amount to £50,000, but to less than £3,000 in New South Wales.
