REAR REFLECTORS AGAIN
WHICH HAVE BEEN APPROVED? The rights and wrongs o£ the regulations governing red rear reflectors have been discussed so o£3tn that some apology is needed for mentioning the subject again. It is stated that certain firms are advertising and offering for sale rear red reflectors as having been approved by the Government when such is not the case. Motor traders, as well as motor users, have suffered loss and annoyance over this foolish regulation, and it is important that they should understand which reflectors have been tested and are approved by the department. , To date, only seven different rear reflectors have been approved by the Government, and they are as follow: (1) “Bluemel Raylight” reflector. (2) “Cairlight” (Cairns) reflector. (3) Heberley’s reflector. (4) Langlea reflector. (5) Miller reflectolite No. 4. (6) Mur-Ray reflector. (7) Perrylite reflector.'
