CRUSHED UNDER HORSE
YOUTH KILLED AT MARTON (Special to THE SUN) MARTON, Today? A boy of 17, Trevor Leon Georg* Bowen, only son of Mr. J. W. Bowen, of Fern Flats, Marton, was found dead by his father under the body of bis horse, which had fallen in jumping a wire fence.- It appears that the animal somersaulted, broke its neck and tel! upon its rider. Mr. Bowen was at Marton at a stock sale during the afternoon and was speaking by telephone with his son at three o’clock. When he went home in the early evening, the lad was not to be found, but it was n«>t until darkness had fallen that th father became alarmed. A search was instituted and the body found about 6.40 p.m.
