ELUSIVE MAN REMANDED "He is a hard man to catch,” remarked Chief-Detective Hammond at the Police Court this morning, when James Logie, alias Kelly, was remanded until Thursday on a charge of assaulting John James Olive at Wellington on December 15. The chief-detective did not eonsider the assault was serious, but applied for the remand so that inquiries could be made, as Logie had been arrested on information from Wellington. Logie asked for bail, which was allowed in one surety of £25. .
