ASSAULT CHARGE
ELUSIVE MAN REMANDED "He is a hard man to catch,” remarked Chief-Detective Hammond at the Police Court this morning, when James Logie, alias Kelly, was remanded until Thursday on a charge of assaulting John James Olive at Wellington on December 15. The chief-detective did not eonsider the assault was serious, but applied for the remand so that inquiries could be made, as Logie had been arrested on information from Wellington.
