declaring tira.t he is not quarrelling with the Nanking Government. Feng and Chramg are rapidly mobilising respectively their Kuo-Min-Chun and Kiio-Min-Tamg’ troops, and an outbreak of hostfililties is expected in the Lyang district- a stronghold of the former powerful Wu Pei-fu, and a strategic position of. Central China. Feng’s declaration was not expected at official quarters. Nanking’s apprehension is proved by the postponement of the State burial of Dr. Sun-Yat-Sen frosu June 1 being under discussion. Latest reports from Lyang say that the Kuo-Min-Chun troop&i are destroying bridges and railways in order to impede the Government forces.
