WAIKATO'S WEALTH
BIG WINTER SHOW preparations in hand The Waikato Winter Show and Industrial Exhibition which each year enables the great pastoral wealth of the Waikato to be shown will be opened a". Hamilton on May 2S by the prime Minister, Sir Joseph Ward. With vast resources to draw upon, rhe Waikato Show, by reason of its admirable organisation and extraordinary diversity, is regarded as the biggest and most interesting of its kind in the Dominion. The pastoral exhibits alone are always sufficient to make it notable, and nowhere is shown a more impressive display of dairy produce. The show, apart from its pastoral side, attracts attention because of the variety in other classes. There are to he plain and fancy needlework sections, a home industry division, and an art section. To enable the whole province to learn of the Waikato’s varied wealth, special railway arrangements have been made for the show period—May 28 to June 3. Cheap fares will be offered. so all that are interested will be furnished with all reasonable opportunities for attendance.
