RANGITIKEI CRICKET
ASSOCIATION’S ANNUAL MEETING (From Our Own Correspondent) MARTON, Friday. Rangitikei Cricket Association, which controls the game in this district, held its ar.nual meeting this week, Mr. H. F. Arkwright presiding over a large attendance. Mr. Arkwright sought to be relieved of the presidential responsibilities, and in appreciation of his 25 years’ service to the game—lo years as president of the parent body—he was elected a life member. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: President, Mr. G. G. Oliver; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. H. C. Broad, G. L. Marshall, R. H. Lowry, J. D. Smith, A B. Innes and Dr. Sinclair; treasurer, Mr. C. A. Tidy; assistant treasurer, Mr. Birch: auditor, Mr. W. C. Fowler;: committee, Messrs. A. Staples (Marton), D. A. Cameron (Porewa), R. C. Ball (Broadway), McKenzie (Junction), H. Lyon (Colts), J. Stewart (Hunterville); secretary, Mr. K. G. Biss.
