Here is a novel competition for readers of THE SUN. The odds and ends above are all part of one drawing, that of AL JOLSON, who is appearing in “ THE SINGING FOOL ” at the Plaza Theatre. A double ticket for the Super-Talkie programme will be awarded by the managee ment of the Plaza Theatre to the person who sends in the completed drawing (that is the little pieces which have been cut out and mounted! together with the best written statement (in not more than 50 words) cf “Why I like A 1 Jolson.” Double theatre tickets will also be given to the 11 competitors whose entries, in the opinion of the judges, at the next best. All entries must reach the “ Round the Shows ” THE SUN, not later than 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, and envelopes should be marked “Movie Competition.” The winner’s “Why I Jolson” will be published on the following Saturday.
