Prime Ministers Visit to Auckland

DEFINITE DATES FIXED LIST OF ENGAGEMENTS The Prime Minister, the Right Hon. Sir Joseph Ward, will arrive in Auckland on June 3 and will remain here until June 7. The original dates of his visit have been altered to suit the convenience of Sir Joseph, who has many hundreds of engagements all over New Zealand during the next few weeks. During the Prime Minister’s visit to Auckland, his first since the General Election, he will be accorded a civic reception. The Chamber of Commerce w iU tender him a luncheon at the Town Hall. The following is the list of Sir Joseph’s engagements during his visit Auckland:— Monday, June 3.—Attend races at Ellerslie. Tuesday, June 4. Civic reception at Town Hall at mid-day. Address public meeting at the Town Hall in the evening. Wednesday, June s.—Free. Thursday, June 6. —Chamber of Commerce lunch. Town Hall. Evening, private social gathering. Friday, June 7.—Leave Auckland.
